Hello To all, it’s been quite
a while since I posted an update so here it is; this week, I celebrated my
1-year anniversary of my stem cell transplant. My Myeloma Cancer is officially
in remission and I’m feeling great.
Unfortunately just when
Theresa and I were ready to sit back and enjoy some quality non-hospital time
together, I was diagnosed with Prostate Cancer.
I visited with my new
physician today; we reviewed my prostate MRI results, which indicated stage-4
prostate cancer. He then discussed my treatment options in detail after
explaining where the cancer was specifically found in my testing.
The next step is to meet with
a Radiologist to discuss the difference between Radiation therapies vs.
surgical procedures.
On a happier note, Theresa
and I are buying a 200-yr old farmhouse in Vermont near Killington. We will now
have 4 bedrooms, plenty of room for guests!
I will once again resume
regular postings as my long journey fighting Cancer continues.
