Having this week off from my treatment was a great break. Today is Thursday and each day I feel like I’m returning back to my old self. I can feel the effects of the chemotherapy wearing off a little bit more each day, it’s a nice feeling. Still struggling with the anemia but it’s a small price to pay to get to the end results. Looking back it’s been a great winter. Tons of snow, great times with all my friends and let’s not forget… I got married this winter! Icing on the cake! Now as the cold winter draws to a close I’m looking forward to the warmer weather and those days at the beach!

Hi Chemo Ken, I have been thinking about you all week and am so glad to hear that you have been feeling more like your *young* self :-) A break must feel good. And how is Quimby? Eating any sponges lately? pearls? socks? I do so miss him sticking his slobbering tongue all over my face while I sleep.
I am heading to our favorite birhing ground of NJ this weekend, on my way to the famous Asbury Park. I will think of you as I pass by Exit 4!
