Hello, I hope everyone got through the hurricane with little or no damage. In Lynn we just had rain and a lot of leaves a few branches here and there, we were fine. It was also the 1st weekend we were all back at home! Theresa picked up Quinby on Friday and brought him back home; boy did he grow in just 6 weeks.
I spent Monday at Dana-Farber going through some tests to see how everything is going. Last week my Doctor had my PIC line removed and stopped the antibiotics that were potentially slowing my recovery. Well I have good news! Actually great news, my white cell count has jumped way up in just a week; I’m now in a safe range! My platelet count was up as well, this was all great news. Going forward, I only have to go every other week for testing, I’m glad the Monday, Wednesday & Friday testing is over. On my way to recovery! Still waiting for my taste buds to return, getting a little better every week.
